2018 Olympic Snow Goggles
Now that the 2018 Olympics have come to a close, we've decided to look at several of the Olympic goggles that the top athletes wore. We have already looked at Olympians wearing Oakley and Shaun White wearing Anon, so we wanted to shine the spotlight on other brands featured in the Olympics. Here are the top goggles worn by these world class athletes.
The Dragon NFXs is a small frame goggle that is comparable to the standard NFX, but with a slightly smaller fit. Dragon NFXs features a cylindrical lens with 100% UV protection. It also features an anti-fog treated lens with armored venting to provide ideal airflow and give the best possible view of the mountain. In addition, the goggles utilize triple-layer foam with a microfleece lining for the most comfortable fit. With the Quick-Change lens system the goggles can shift between different lenses to adapt to any conditions on the slopes.
Julia Marino is a USA snowboarder that competes in slopestyle and Big Air. She made her Olympic debut at the 2018 Olympics but failed to make the podium in either of her events. However, for her first Olympics she was successful in making the Olympic team and competing at a high level. She wore the Dragon Alliance NFXs at the Olympics.
Smith I/O Mag
The I/O Mag utilizes Smith’s ChromaPop technology and incorporates the new magnetic lens change system. This frame features a rimless design and the aforementioned magnetic lens-change system that is the first of its kind. The unique interchangeability uses eight magnetic contact points and sixteen magnets to maneuver the lens into place. After that, the locking system ensures that the lens stays in place for the entirety of your time on the mountain. While there are other goggles on the market with different quick switch lens technology, this may be the most unique and easy. This incredible goggle is scheduled for release in September of 2018.
Chase Josey (USA)
Chase Josey is a USA snowboarder that competes in halfpipe. Just like Julia Morino, Chase made his Olympic debut at these 2018 Olympics. He competed against Shaun White in halfpipe and placed 6th. He wore the Smith I/O MAG which are currently unreleased.
The POC Lid is a frameless goggle that provides super-wide vision. The goggle's anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment along with the double lens gives the rider optimal vision. Ester Ledecka (Czech Republic)
Ester Ledecka is a Czech snowboarder and alpine skier and a two-time Olympian. She made history when she won a gold medal in both snowboarding and skiing. The events were Parallel Giant Slalom in snowboarding and Super-G skiing. She is the first person ever to win gold in two different sports at the same Olympics. She accomplished this feat while wearing POC goggles.
Lindsey Jacobellis and Bern Goggles
Lindsey Jacobellis is a USA Snowboard Cross athlete. She is a 4-time Olympian and a silver medalist at the 2006 Torino Olympics. She is best known for winning gold at all five of her world championship appearances. In the 2018 Olympics she placed fourth in Snowboard Cross wearing the Bern Eastwood Frame.

Marcel Hirscher and Atomic Goggles
Marcel Hirscher is an Austrian skier that competes in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Combined. He is a three-time Olympian and won silver in Slalom at Sochi in 2014. At these Olympics, viewers were stunned when Hirscher DNF (Did not finish) in Slalom. However, he bounced back and won gold in both Combined and Giant Slalom! While winning gold, he was wearing Atomic goggles.
