Frame
The first thing to note when it comes to the Ohai is that it's on the larger side. Most of the rimless options are closer to a medium fit, so we were very happy to see another XL option added to the collection. The temples and bridge create a clean line only broken up by the vibrant Maui Jim lenses. The frame itself is constructed of MauiFlex™ which is a proprietary memory metal which molds to the wearers head shape. Despite it's flexible lightweight properties, MauiFlex is highly durable and made to last.
Additional comfort can be found in the frame from the silicone non-slip nose pads and rubberized temple tips which make for a luxurious fit on the ears. These features also act as a performance boost, keeping this frame in place if you decide to take these frames hiking, out on a jog, or even out on water.
