It's important to keep your noggin safe and protected. If you're looking for the perfect helmet for your snow adventures, we're here to help you! SportRx took a trip to Portland, Oregon and spent time on Mount Hood to review the Smith Camber Helmet. To learn more about this awesome helmet, check out the video below!

The Smith Camber Helmet is extremely lightweight and durable thanks to its ultra-light mold construction. It also features an active ventilation system. The Smith Camber Helmet comes with an adjustable Smith x Boa fit system which gives you a nice and comfortable fit behind the neck. Its X-Static performance lining wicks away the moisture and will keep your helmet smelling fresh. And last but not least, their Snapfit SL2 ear pads will provide all the warmth and comfort you require on that breezy snow gondola ride up the mountain.

Smith Camber Helmet Black from SportRX

The Smith Camber Helmet comes in two generic options: with MIPS or without MIPS. MIPS stands for Multiple Impact Protection System which is a leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet. The MIPS is designed to absorb direct impact very efficiently. When combined with MIPS technology, Smith helmets absorb oblique forces better by allowing a small rotation of the outer shell relative to the liner. When you fall to the ground a helmet with MIPS technology creates a sliding layer between the outer shell and the head, reducing potential damage. For further information, check out our blog on MIPS technology! This model is also available in Matte White and Matte Charcoal.
