How do Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses work?

Ray-Ban took some of its most iconic frames, and gave them a technological upgrade. Ray-Ban Stories smart sunglasses are fashion-forward shades featuring wearable technology. The smart glasses look pretty similar to the original frame styles, but feature two small camera lenses on the front of the temples. By simply touching the temple, or using voice-activated commands, you can snap photos and record videos of what you're seeing through the lenses. There is also an LED light on the front of the temple to alert others when you're recording. The glasses have built-in speakers with wireless Bluetooth connectivity so you can listen to music and take phone calls.

How long does the Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses battery last and how do you charge it?

Each Ray-Ban Stories purchase comes with a portable charging case. If the glasses have a full charge, the battery should last anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on your level of use. For example, if you're snapping a few photos here and there, and taking a phone call, the charge will last longer than if you're constantly recording or streaming music. Within a full battery charge, Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses can take up to 50 videos or up to 200 photos. When it's time to charge the glasses, it'll take about 70 minutes for the glasses to reach a full battery charge.

How do you download photos and videos recorded on Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses?

Download all of your stellar content you capture with Ray-Ban Stories by using the Facebook View app. First, you'll need to have a Facebook account. Then download the app to your smartphone or tablet through the app store or Google Play. Once you download the app, connect to your Ray-Ban Stories via Bluetooth. Within the app you can save, edit, and share all of your content. Here, you can learn more about how to use the Facebook View app.

Update: the Facebook View app has been rebranded as the "Meta View" app. To use your Ray-Ban Stories glasses, download the free Meta View app. You can easily login with the same credentials you used for the Facebook View app.

How do you take phone calls using Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses?

Once your Ray-Ban smart sunglasses are connected to your phone via Bluetooth, you can manage phone calls. To answer a phone call, simply tap the temple twice. When you finish chatting, end the call the same way you started it, by double-tapping the temple. To ignore a call, tap, and hold. The open-ear speakers within the frame temples allow you to listen without the need for headphones. Depending on your volume level, others around you may be able to hear your audio.
