Ray-Ban New Wayfarer vs the Wayfarer Ease: What’s the Difference?
The Ray-Ban Wayfarer collection is one of the most popular designs on the market. The Ray-Ban Wayfarer has been a go to classic for those looking for a simple yet stylish design. However, Ray-Ban has taken their classic style and improved on it with two new frames that reflect a modernized design. Sunglass Rob and Ray-Ban Tyler sit down to compare the Ray-Ban New Wayfarer Ease vs New No-Tilt Wayfarer.
The Ray-Ban 2132 and the 340 are made for people who are looking for a classic and stylish look without the aggressive pantoscopic tilt. The original Wayfarer 2140 featured the pantoscopic tilt and many users weren’t a fan of the style, which led to the modern redesigns. The Ray-Ban 2132, or New Wayfarer, differs by offering a narrower and softer lens shape. In addition, it is also available in a variety of sizes. The 2132 comes in 52, 55, and 58 eyesize. With a variety of sizes, the New Wayfarer is a match for anyone.
Frame Dimensions for Ray-Ban New Wayfarer (55 Eyesize)
- Lens Width – 55 mm

The Ray-Ban 4340, or Wayfarer Ease, features the original iconic and classic look, but provides a small update to that design. Like the New Wayfarer, the Wayfarer Ease removes the pantoscopic tilt. However, the 4340 differs from the 2132 with its lens design. The 4340 offers a taller and deeper lens. This differences gives a more laid-back look to the classic thick frames that we have come to love.
