Maui Jim HT

First off, HT stands for High-Transition which was designed for low light condition days. If you want something with more contrast and isn't as dark, this is the lens for you. It has a greenish color when you're looking through it. When someone is looking at you, they'll see a neutral color, not too bright or eye-catching, but rather a subtle green, light grey look. HT is designed with a bi-gradient mirror which acts as if your eyes are squinting so it does the work of keeping the sun’s rays out of your eyes without straining your brow. Maui Jim HT is great for low-activity sports.

Maui Sunrise

The Maui Sunrise lens is quite the opposite, in terms of color and design. This lens is beautifully named for its sunrise colors. A combination of red, pink, and gold allows the Sunrise lens to make more of a statement. They have a reflective mirror on a rose lens which is a little bit darker in comparison to the HT lens, but not the darkest one Maui Jim carries. When you're looking through the lens the world will be a little bit brighter and more cheery. This lens is great for brighter conditions.

Maui Jim HT vs. Maui Sunrise

Both lenses are equipped with MJ patented PolarizedPlus2 lens technology which means they're 100% UV protective, block harmful HEV light, and they're simply just amazing. They are very different lenses in the sense of style and need for use. The HT lens is designed for conditions when you think you may not need sunglasses, cloudy days. Sunrise is great for brighter beach days.
