After a successful collection of metal sunglasses, Costa Del Mar has introduced the new Costa Canaveral lightweight metal frame. We took some time in the San Diego Bay to test these luxurious frames out on open water. Check out our review below for all the details.
The new Costa Canaveral is a frame for everyday use built with an ultra-strong titanium front frame and beta-titanium temples. This allows the pair to stay in place during more physical activities like fishing. Additionally, Costa’s Hydrolite technology minimizes slipping. While the Canaveral is designed for practicality, it’s aviator-style lenses create a stylish look and feel.
What’s more, is that the Canaveral is hypoallergenic. This means that you don’t have to worry about sensitivities to certain metals. Titanium is the key. Often times with metal frames, it can be difficult to find a pair that is lightweight. The Canaveral solves this problem by utilizing titanium, a super lightweight material, in the frame as well as beta titanium in the temples. Also, the Canaveral is available in multiple lens colors and four frame colors. As far as the fit goes, this frame is a medium to large fit.
