The Ray-Ban New Aviator is one of Ray-Ban's highly-anticipated new releases for 2022. With the same teardrop shape as the original, the New Aviator features a double bridge, acetate temple tips, and adjustable nose pads. The metal frame, temples, and nose bridge are thicker than the original Aviator, offering a bold statement. And the bridge and temples feature an intricate design. The iconic Ray-Ban rivet shape, as seen on frames like the Wayfarer, and Clubmaster, is engraved on the bridge and temples. This bold frame paired with the detailed design really makes the New Aviator stand out. Available in a 58mm eye size, RB3625 comes in three colors: Legend Gold, Black, and Silver. Available in three sizes, and a variety of colors, the original Aviator is the classic that started it all. The original Ray-Ban Aviator has a double bridge, covered temple tips, and adjustable nose pads. The temples and frame edges are super thin and lightweight. Originally designed to protect US fighter pilots' eyes from the sun's rays, the Aviator is minimalistic and functional. Today, the Aviator is one of the most popular sunglass styles in the world, and the perfect choice when you're wanting a classic and cool pair of sunglasses. What Is The Difference Between The RB3625 And The RB3025?

The New Aviator and the Original Aviator are very similar in design. But there are a few key differences in these frames. The first is that the Original Aviator is a 6 base frame and the New Aviator is a 4 base frame. The base refers to the curvature of the frame. The lower the curvature, the better the frame is for high prescriptions. Therefore, if you are looking for a pair of everyday sunglasses that may accommodate a strong prescription, the New Aviator is a great choice. The Original Aviator has a minimal curvature, which means it still can accommodate many prescriptions, but has more of a curve than the 4 base frame.

Another key difference is in the design. While the original Aviator has a thin, wiry silhouette, the New Aviator has a much sturdier frame. As seen in the photos above, the temples and frame edges on the New Aviator are thicker and bolder than the original. And the engravings add a unique touch that sets this frame apart from the rest.

And finally, there's a difference in fit. The 58mm size of the New Aviator is a large fit, and the added frame material makes the New Aviator a great option for those looking for a large and bold frame. It will provide an oversized look for those with a more petite face.
