Maui Jim HCL Bronze
The HCL Bronze lens is a really popular, great lens color. It has a brown, bronze tone to it so when you observe the world through them you get a beautiful dark bronze view. A grey lens, for instance, keeps colors neutral, while the bronze lens brightens and adds more contrast to your world. When you're viewing someone wearing them, you'll notice a bi-gradient mirror which acts as if your eyes were squinting by having a reflective quality on the top and bottom of the lens.

Maui Hawaii Lava
The Maui Hawaii Lava lens is a whole different game. These lenses have a fun loud, orange-red view. This mirrored coating is the same used on an HCL lens, so really it’s the same family of lenses but without the bronze color view. Hawaii Lava does have some gradient to it so when you’re looking through the lens, the top portion will have a greenish hue to it, which fades into a bronze color.

Maui Jim HCL Bronze vs. Maui Hawaii Lava
Both HCL Bronze and Maui Hawaii Lava are polarized, high contrast lenses that protect against UV rays, boost color, and improve depth perception. The difference is that HCL is a bit more neutral, less loud of a color and the Hawaii Lava is a brighter view.
