The DX3 gets an upgrade with the Dragon DX3 Plus OTG snow goggle. One of Dragon's standout features is their armored venting. This armored venting system increases the goggle's longevity by protecting the face foam. Additionally, Dragon’s LUMALENS® color optimized lens technology enhances contrast and color recognition in a variety of light conditions. And the anti-fog coating prevents the lens from fogging up so you can see clearly and ride safely. Maintain a snug and secure fit with triple-layer face foam and a silicone lined strap. The face foam includes a hypoallergenic micro fleece lining to ensure comfort all day long. This medium sized goggle has an injection molded cylindrical lens. Cylindrical lenses curve horizontally and have a flatter look than spherical goggles.
This is an OTG goggle, meaning its designed to fit your eyeglasses underneath. However, for a superior visual experience, prescription inserts are recommended. Inserts are specifically tailored to your vision needs and fit securely inside the goggle, providing clearer vision without the discomfort of wearing glasses underneath. Most goggles are compatible with Rx inserts. Goggle Size & Fit Guide
A proper-fitting goggle is one of the most important pieces of protective gear. Goggles should feel comfortable, while providing enough coverage to have a large field of view and protection from outside elements. There are several things to consider when looking for your goggle size.
DETERMINING YOUR GOGGLE SIZE
Extra Small fit is designed to be smaller overall to fit kids and youth. If you are an adult you may want to look at the next size up unless you are used to shopping in the kids section.
Medium (M) GogglesMedium fit is considered average in terms of depth, width, and height. Medium-sized goggles tend to fit all sexes, along with growing teenagers.
Extra Large (XL) GogglesExtra large fit is for those who tend to have issues finding the right size due to things being too small. XL-sized goggles not only have a wider fit but will have a much taller lens to provide that oversized look and the widest field of vision.
Small fit is designed to fit bigger kids, or adults with smaller faces. Generally, small-sized goggles are more narrow, shorter, and shallower than other frame sizes. If you wear a size Small helmet, then this should be the best size for you.
Large (L) GogglesLarge fit is designed to be a wider fit for those with bigger than average-sized heads. This size tends to fit large adult males the best. Do you wear a large size Helmet? Then this is the size to go with!
GOGGLE FIT
Asian fit goggles are designed to fit people with a more narrow nose bridge and higher cheekbones. The goggle offers more foam padding in the nasal portion of the goggle. In some instances, the goggles are less curved to minimize pressure on the cheeks.
Over the Glasses Goggles (OTG)Have you heard? SportRx makes prescription inserts to fit specifically inside of goggles. Not all prescriptions are compatible with the insert, so you may have to resort to OTG Goggles. OTG goggles have been designed to make wearing glasses underneath your goggles a little more comfortable. The foam padding typically has cut outs where the temples/arms of your glasses sit to minimize the pressure points of the goggles pushing the frames against your face.
Just about every goggle is now helmet-compatible but be sure to check for compatibility issues when opting for a more oversized spherical style. A great fitting goggle should have a seamless bond between the brim of the helmet to the top of the goggle to eliminate any extra space that will create a “gaper”. A gap that exposes your forehead to the sun, wind, snow, or dirt that can cause undesirable outcomes.
