I had cataract surgery a few years ago and a different lens was used each eye. While my vision is pretty good the amount of light going in to my left eye which was a Toric cataract lens....is dramatically more than the right eye. For golf I use Oahatkley golf prism lens...my first pair was the normal prism but I found that allowed too much light for my left eye and my next pair was with the dark golf prism lenses. Now I have problems following the ball for longer shots. Would having a different VLT in each eye help with this issue? Thanks for you assistance.
Hi Gary! A lower VLT will ultimately provide more relief for your left eye BUT you will likley also be sacrificing notable contrast in your field of view which, to your point, is aiding in helping you track the ball in flight. Oakley offers a wide array of lens types and a different base tint may help in providing a good balance of light blockage and wanted contrast. I think that the The Prizm Tungsten and/or Prizm Sapphire would be a good place to start. Hey Ronald! We're unfamiliar with that term, 'cylolet'. Is it a brand name or related to a type of frame/lens feature? You can also send any questions to info@sportrx.com and our opticians will get back to you asap with an answer!
