Hello Henry! It depends on what you are going to be using the lenses for. If you need an everyday pair that will keep your eyes protected then your best option is going to be PRIZM Black Polarized. If you would like alternate suggestions, you can always reach a certified optician here: https://www.sportrx.com/contact
So I have a pair of black iridium polarized lenses, I love them 9% light. Today I went and got the prizm black polarized lenses that let 11% light in, noticed a huge difference but tbh it actually hurt my eyes idk if i just needing to adjust but that was a rough ride home any suggestions?
Hmmm...the VLT difference is pretty slight so the fact that your eyes were hurting is a bit concerning. I would recommend contacting one of our certified opticians via the phone or live chat to see how we can better help you out: https://www.sportrx.com/contact
Hey Doug! 'Iridium' is Oakley's proprietary term for their mirror coating. The Prizm Black Polarized uses a solid black mirror on top of the Prizm-enhanced grey base tint, which gives it a transmission rate of 11%.
