Best Sunglasses for Women
I work with a plethora of sunglass styles on a daily basis. Needless to say, I've developed a few favorites. I'll give you some of my top picks, from sporty, to casual, to retro fabulous. For starters, I'm partial to the Maui Jim styles, especially since I’m a fan of polarized lenses. Plus, I love their laid-back, aloha vibe. Each of my favorite Maui Jim sunglasses for women is lightweight, prescription-ready, and oh yeah - they look amazing.
Sandy Beach- Great for an active match of beach volleyball or for casually basking in the sun. The Sandy Beach has a flexible, rimless frame for an unobstructed field of vision and a a mid-sized wrap lens; made for petite faces.
Baby Beach- Introducing the Baby Beach. A casual lifestyle piece that you can dress up or dress down. The Baby Beach features a titanium frame that is tailored to fit smaller faces and is fantastic for high-power prescriptions.
Ho'okipa- A flexible, rimless frame that is great for running on the beach or laying out by the shore. The Ho'okipa is designed for larger facial features and for those who prefer a larger wrap, offering extra coverage and glare protection. They also feature Rubberon nose pads for an active, non-slip fit.
For those who want a sporty, feminine look without the polarized lenses, the Oakley Commit SQ are tailored specifically for the female athlete. These frames feature a three-point fit and are made out of Oakley's very own "O Matter" material, which is designed to form uniquely to your face.
Or, for the women who like a big Audrey Hepburn look, the Ray-Ban Jackie Ohh II is amazing. Who can forget the scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s where Audrey is looking through the Tiffany's window? They are a beautiful, retro pair of sunglasses. A classic for sure.
