The prescription lenses that we carry are actually inserts that fit inside the goggle. You don't have to worry about replacing your goggle lens at all!
I have a set of Anon M2, I am interested in the Sonar Blue lens with my prescription, questions I have are, will they work for my M2 goggle, and what is the actual tint looking out from the goggle, the outside color is blue but is the actual tint looking out blue as well? Tks
That's awesome you're interested in getting the Sonar Blue lens with your prescription in your Anon M2! The good news is that you won't have to worry about color distortion, because the solution is a prescription goggle insert that sits up against whatever Sonar lens you get for the M2. Here's a link to the snow goggle insert so you can get a visual. Please give us a call at 888-831-5817 if you have any questions or Contact Us. You'll be put in touch with one of our in-house, certified opticians who can answer your questions at no cost to you except your time.
Have a great day and we wish you fun days on the snow!
Has anyone tried Anon's new perceive lenses.. are they worth the extra over last years sonar lens? particularly interested in cloudy pink, cloudy burst vs sonar infrared...
Hi James! Speaking from personal experience, i can indeed say that the percieve technology is worth the purchase! The contrast and color enhancement really helps to identify contours and provide a more robust viewing perspective. I personally notice a bit more color pop which is also nice. We defintely recommend giving them a go! Check out the link below for more information.
I was looking at low light lenses and I noticed Burton/Anons site and yours has the Cloudy Pink and Cloudy Burst light transmission percentages reversed. Hoping for clarification! Thanks!
I'm a 65-year-old female intermediate skier, and my biggest issue is that I need goggles that will really let me read the terrain. I have terrible cheap goggles now that simply make it all look flat and shapeless, especially on cloudy days. I also wear progressive lens glasses, but don't know that it would be worth the expense to have lenses specially made to insert in the goggles. I've read Anon is the best brand for me, but can you please help me determine which model might be most effective? Thanks!
Hey Diane. Tough to say which specific goggle model would work best without considering size, but as far as lens tech is concerned you can’t go wrong with Anon. Most of their goggles come with 2 lenses, one for bright bluebird days and one for cloudy overcast conditions. The M4 Toric model proves to be one of the best goggles available. In addition to Anon you’ll find great lenses that provide amazing contrast with Oakley, Zeal, and Smith brands. As for the inserts, I would highly recommend it especially if you’re having issues with reading the contours of the terrain. Sportrx can make single vision as well as progressive prescriptions in goggle inserts although I encourage those who don’t heavily rely on the reading portion of a progressive lens to opt for single vision digital for a wider range of viewing perspective and less distortion throughout.
Is it possible to order just a prescription lens for my Anon M3 goggles that I already have?
Do they come in all the colors you carry?
Thanks,
Bryan
