What does PD (pupil distance) mean?
Your PD is the distance between your pupils in millimeters.  This measurement can be obtained by calling the last place that made you a pair of eyewear.  They should be able to give this measurement to you over the phone.  If they are unwilling to give it to you, you can go to any local optician and they can measure your PD for you.to the top

What is the difference between Grey #1, Grey #2, and Grey #3?
Grey #1 is a very light tint. If someone were looking at you they would be able to completely see your eyes through the lens.  Many people use this lens just for cosmetics.  Grey #2 is a little bit darker.  People would still be able to see your eyes through the lenses if they were looking directly at you, and Grey #3 is your standard grey sunglass lens.  If someone were looking at you they would not be able to see your eyes through the lens.to the top

How do I know if my prescription will fit into the style I like?
We provide prescription limitations in the info/order section on every frame style we have listed online.  You can also give any of our licensed opticians a call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your prescription and the frame you like. Keep in mind that we may be able to go outside of our prescription limitations, and we take each order on a case-by-case basis.to the top

What can I do if my prescription is outside of the listed available range?
Keep in mind that these parameters aren’t written in stone.  Just give any of our opticians a call! Special orders, such as high prescriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, and any of our licensed opticians can help you regarding your prescription and any special order questions you may have.to the top

What happens if I’m not happy with my new glasses?
Our satisfaction guarantee states that if you aren’t happy with style, fit, or there is a problem with your prescription, you can return them within two weeks of receiving your eyewear for a one time remake at no charge.  The only time there is a charge is if you are upgrading frame or lens style, in which, we will only charge you the upgraded price.  If, all else fails, and we are unable to resolve the problem with your eyewear, or you are just not satisfied with the product, we will issue a credit. However, there is a $30.00 restocking fee and shipping charges will not be refunded. to the top

What is your warranty policy?
We cover your glasses under a one year manufacturers warranty against frame manufacturing defects, and your prescription lenses are covered under scratch warranty for one year from date of receiving your eyewear.  Our warranty policy does not cover your lenses if they are lost, stolen, ran over, eaten by the dog, etc. If you have any questions regarding the warranty on your frame and lenses please give us a call at 888-831-5817, and ask for the Warranty department.to the top

Can I try the frames on locally?
Many Harley Davidson dealerships and Motorcycle shops carry the Wiley X and 7eye by Panoptx lines.  Other brand name styles are available at local eye shops and sporting goods stores.  Please visit the manufacturers web site and enter your zip code to find a dealer near you.  If you are unable to do so, please give us a call and ask us about our Test Ride program!to the top

What is a “Test Ride”?
Our test ride program allows prescription wearers the opportunity to try on a specific frame before purchasing the prescription.  All you will pay for this service is the non prescription frame price, and we cover the shipping to you.  If you decide that you like the frame and want to order the prescription, just send the frames back to us along with a copy of your prescription and pupil distance and we will make the lenses for you!  If you do not like the way the frame fits, looks, feels on your face just send the frames back to us for a full refund to your credit card account.  We do ask that you cover the shipping back to us when returning the eyewear. Please note that, should you order, some frames may not require you to send the entire frame back to us, as we have several models available that have the interchangeable lens option.to the top

What is the difference between Polycarbonate and CR-39 lenses?
CR-39 is an optical monomer used in casting plastic lenses for prescription eyewear.  CR-39 lenses are light weight compared to glass, and can be made in just about any prescription.  However, they are not recommended for active sports and motorcycling, due to the fact that they are not impact resistant and require additional UV and scratch coatings.
SportRx, Inc strongly recommends upgrading to polycarbonate lenses over CR-39 lenses due to its impact resistance and scratch resistance.  Polycarbonate is also lighter weight and has 100% UV protection.  We strongly recommend polycarbonate for all active sports, motorcycling and ALL children's eyewear.to the top

I am interested in getting the lenses that change into sunglasses when I go outside.  Do you carry them?
Yes!  We are proud to carry the latest in Transition/Photochromic lens technology! These lenses go from clear indoors to as dark as a sunglass outdoors!  Their advanced technology adjusts to the changing light so you can see clearly and more comfortably in virtually any light condition.  Please keep in mind that Transitions/Photochromic lenses change with the amount of UV in the atmosphere, and will not change behind your windshield and full face helmets with a shield.to the top

Can you do bifocals and progressive lenses?
We are proud to now offer bifocals and progressive no-line bifocals!  We have several options available.  Please call one of our licensed opticians for a free prescription analysis to see if your bifocal or progressive lens can be accommodated in the frames you are interested in!
**PLEASE READ REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF PROGRESSIVE LENSES**
If you get your glasses and they don’t work out, for whatever reason, we will remake one time at no charge unless you are upgrading frame and/or lenses (even the shipping gets applied to the new order). If they still don’t work out after the exchange we are happy to issue you a credit, however, there is a $30.00 restocking fee and the progressive charges will not be refunded. to the top
